BB:  We're back here in the Richmond Coliseum with CSWA PRIMETIME as we count down the days until BATTLE of the BELTS!  Mike Plett has thrown his hat in with the GXW contingent as they look to pull down the CSWA.  And while Hornet may be a CSWA legend, he hasn't taken up the league's cause that we know of.  But they're up next, followed by two of our three championship matches!

"Wicked Sight" Mike Plett vs. Hornet

The reaction these two men got as they came to the ring was nothing short of decisive. Mike Plett could barely hear his own music over the boos, but he acted like it was a sweet symphony in his ear. Hornet, conversely, was greeted with a thunderous pop, but he didn't seem to hear the crowd.

Plett started off strong, targeting Hornet's back and knees with a vicious assault of slams and kicks.  He nearly put Hornet away within the first five minutes after a vicious German Suplex.  Hornet rolled to the outside, however, and took a pair of nine- counts to the beginnings of a 'Boring' chant. It seemed to work, however, as he rolled back into the ring looking much more like the thirty- plus time World Champion he is. Plett was no pushover, however, and fought back like a champ. He'd hooked the View to Kill, but Hornet was able to reverse it into a toss halfway across the ring. As Plett pulled himself up in the corner he ate a Hornet Splash, followed up with the Scorpion Deathlock. It was a valient effort, but Plett tapped out after a valiant struggle to get to the ropes failed. After the match, Hornet left the ring without acknowledging the fans, much to the bewilderment of everyone in attendance.

Winner:  Hornet

Greensboro Championship
GUNS (c) vs. Kin Hiroshi

BB: This match between Greensboro Champion GUNS and the "Muffin Man" himself, Kin Hiroshi continues here on PRIMETIME. Thus far it's been the champ pretty much having his way with the smaller challenger, fending him off seemingly at will.

JS: I may be new to the wrestling business, but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see where this one's going, Bill.

BB: Maybe not...Early on Hiroshi came full steam at the champion trying to take him off of his vertical base but the much bigger Greensboro champion has been able to counter Hiroshi, or just flat out power out, of those attempts without much trouble.

JS: How can you take a wrestler who calls himself the "Muffin Man" seriously anyway?

BB: Actually Kin Hiroshi is quite the accomplished wrestler, despite his off the wall antics and business ventures.

JS: Of course he is... for a guy called The Muffin Man. Actually, through my research, I've found that Mr. Hiroshi isn't the first CSWA wrestler to have that moniker...

BB: Thanks, John. Regardless, Hiroshi now is looking to regain his senses a bit as he walks gingerly on the outside after GUNS sent him down and out with a big clothesline. GUNS is simply waiting in the ring with a slight smile on his face...

JS: He's not impressed with this kid at all..

BB: Hiroshi finally makes it up to the apron...GUNS now reaching out to bring him back in...Hiroshi pulls back and drives a shouler into the midsection! Another! One more! GUNS staggers back slightly! Hiroshi leaps up onto the top rope and spring off into a sunset flip over the champion but GUNS is holding steady!! Hiroshi can't pull him down and complete the move!

JS: Good lord!

BB: GUNS reaches down and grabs Hiroshi's legs!!...and he's dragging him out into a wheelbarrow position!! What power by the champion! GUNS lifts him uuuup.....and.....OVER onto his back with devastating impact!! GUNS with the arrogant cover here!!

JS: HA!

BB: ONE, TWO...and the champion lifts him up!

JS: Told ya this kid wasn't for real...

BB: GUNS is just playing games with Hiroshi here now. He pulls the challenger up to his feet...whips him to the ropes...BIG CLOTHESLINE KNOCKS HIROSHI ABOUT OUT OF HIS BOOTS!

JS: That's gonna do it right there!

BB: Hold on, what's this? Lance Leizure has stepped out of the crowd and is climbing up on the apron! GUNS is giving him a suspicious look as the referee makes his way over and demands that Leizure leave the area!

JS: Looks like we've got even more company...

BB: And now Kevin Powers comes running down to the ring from the main ramp, but GUNS has his full attention on Leizure! Powers reaches under the ring and grabs a chair...he slides into the ring!!...He's waiting ...GUNS turns...

(SFX: CRACK)

BB: Powers brings that chair crashing down over GUNS head!! MY GOD!

JS: He's still standing!! He's shaking, but he's still standing!

BB: Powers throws the chair down!!...kick to the midsection!!..KISS THE CANVAS!! KISS THE CANVAS!! POWERS SLIDES OUT AND GOES INTO THE CROWD HIMSELF!! LANCE LEIZURE FINALLY JUMPS DOWN AND THE REFEREE IS TURNING AROUND!!

JS: But both men are out, man! What's the call here?!

BB: Hiroshi back up! The referee is clueless of Powers' interference. And now GUNS is getting up as well! He took a shot to the head and then that Kiss the Canvas, but he's still getting up! Here comes Hiroshi! He hooks the leg... FISHERMAN SUPLEX! He bridges! ONE..... TWO...

JS: THREE!!!

BB: NO!! GUNS GOT HIS SHOULDER OUT AT THE LAST POSSIBLE MOMENT!!

JS: HOW'D HE DO THAT?!

BB: HIROSHI CAN'T BELIEVE IT EITHER!! HIROSHI GOES TO THE CORNER!! HE'S GOING UP!! HIROSHI-MA BOMB!!!!!!!!! CONNECTS!! HERE'S ANOTHER COUNT!!!! ONE!!!

JS: HE'S GONNA KICK OUT AGAIN!

BB: TWO!!

JS: COME ON!

BB: THREE!!! I DON'T BELIEVE IT!! WE'VE GOT A NEW GREENSBORO CHAMPION!!

JS: That's can't be fair!

BB: It very well may not be, but fair or not we've got a new Greensboro champion...and it's Kin Hiroshi!! And despite the interference by two-thirds of the PLR, I'm amazed Hiroshi still had enough gas in the tank to finish GUNS off! We'll be right back with the US Title match!!

United States Championship
Shane Southern (c) vs. Lawrence Stanley

As United States Champion Shane Southern and Lawrence Stanley came into the ring, both men circled each other. But as the bell rang, they shook hands to begin the contest. An early lockup yielded a whip into the ropes and a shoulderblock from the larger Stanley. Stanley hit the ropes immediately and leaped over the downed champ, ducking under a leapfrog, but he taken down with an arm drag. Southern crouched as Stanley rose to a knee and gave a quick nod as they circled each other one more time. Another lock up gave way to a headlock by Stanley, which Southern backed up into the ropes, then once again fired off to the other side of the ring. This time, Southern ducked a clothesline from Stanley and came off the opposite side with a flying forearm.

Southern went on the attack quickly, but had his offense reversed when Stanley rolled out of the way of an elbow drop and quickly made his way to his feet. As Southern got up, Stanley unleashed a vicious European uppercut that sent Southern staggering away holding his chin. A quick kick to the midsection then allowed Stanley to lock up Southern and drive him to the mat with a DDT. Stanley went to work on Southern's knee, stomping away, then locking on a standing figure four leglock and falling sideways to increase the torque on the knee. Southern attempted to get to the ropes but Stanley let go of the hold gave the knee another kick. Stanley stepped back for a moment to catch his breath, as Southern began to use the ropes to pull himself to his feet. The former US Champ quickly moved in one more time with several hard kicks to the knee. Southern tried to fight back with a punch to the face, took a return shot from Stanley, fired back one of his own, then took one more, before being lifted up and slammed down to the mat by the bigger and stronger challenger.

Stanley moved in on Southern's knee once more, turning him over with a modified Scorpion Deathlock, locking up the knee across his other leg but turning it sideways and holding tight to the move. Southern refused to submit, however, and eventually was able to reach the ropes. Stanley quickly pulled Southern to his feet, stood him in the middle of the ring and hit the ropes and dropped the staggered champion with a high knee to the face. The cover yielded only a two count before Southern kicked out. Stanley pulled Shane to his feet, but was quickly surprised with a small cradle from Southern that got a two count.

Stanley recovered, getting up and shoving Southern back into the corner, Shane slumping to one knee on impact. Stanley measured and charged into the corner, but Southern jumped backwards onto the second turnbuckle at just the right moment, rolling over the top of Stanley with a sunset flip and grabbing another quick two-count. Stanley seemed frustrated, but quickly rose to his feet, swinging a right hand at Southern, only to have it blocked. Southern fired back a right hand of his own, stepped back into the corner and came out with a hard clothesline that took Stanley down. Southern, fired up from his rally, climbed backwards to the second turnbuckle and leapt off, only to be caught in the waiting hands of Stanley. The English Gent dumped him over with a belly-to-belly suplex and another two-count. Both men were slow to their feet, trading punches as they staggered to a vertical base. Stanley was able to back Southern into the ropes and send him across, but the following boot to the face missed, as Southern went underneath. Southern put on the brakes and turned hard, getting just enough traction to deliver a hard straight "Party's Over" superkick into the jaw of the challenger. Southern dropped for the cover and got the ONE, TWO, THREE to win the match and retain the title.

Winner: Shane Southern
