How is the CSWA different from other fantasy leagues (efeds)?

In a few, distinct ways. Our schedule typically runs a bit slower based on the schedule of the staff and the members. Our membership on average is older than the average league, and sometimes that means we don't all have the time we would like to spend on the CSWA.

However, our schedule also runs slower because each card is an event. Most of our 'standard' cards (PRIMETIME and SHOWTIME) rival the length and surpass the quality of many other feds' major 'PPV' events. We prefer a full play-by-play style for the majority of cards, and that takes longer to write as well, but it's much more entertaining. As we work with changing the schedule, it's likely that we'll shorten cards up a bit in order to make them more frequent. We're also experimenting with using CSWA: ON TIME as a roleplay-only card, focused on both 'normal' roleplay that would typically be posted on RP Central, and some newer segments that may encompass house show matches and more collaborative segments where members of a feud create a roleplay segment together.

We don't tolerate gloryhounds or members that are just out to play politics. We've dealt with enough of that in the past and have come to a point where it just is not allowed. Our community is here to have fun in a hobby that we enjoy, as well as to provide the best in- and out-of-game experience that we all can together.
