I'm Rudy Seitzer, and welcome to CSWA Grapevine, where we track down the rumors running rampant here in the world of wrestling.  As always, I have to start with a standard disclaimer:  we cannot verify any of the rumors reported here.  Some may be true, some may be outright false...but they've all been passed to me by various sources.  So don't come crying to Rudy...got it?

Congratulations to Sunshine Del Payne who was able to get some form of revenge for the unnecessary attack on her at FFXII ... and while I'm sure a good part of that was due to Poison Ivy's training, I've heard that she's been talking to more than just athletes.  Let's just say she was ALL OVER the Spectrum last weekend, and had more than one run-in with people ... not quite on the right side of the law.

Speaking of Poison Ivy, my sources tell me that the same injury that ended her budding wrestling career was further damaged at Remembering Timmy to the point where surgery seems the only option.  After refusing assisstance in leaving the ringside area following the post-US Title Match melee, she immediately collapsed upon reaching the backstage and needed physical assistance to make it back to her locker room.

The same is said of Eli Flair.  That NASTY spill he took back at 'Timmy' may have dislodged some vertebrae, and an appearance in Greensboro is in doubt.  Knowing Flair, he'll sooner let himself become paralyzed than admit that he was bested by someone, but I think he's got a newfound respect for our United States Champion.

Things for Mark Vizzack and Sunshine appear to be headed down a slippery slope.  From Vizzack's heartbreaking almost-win in Charleston for the World Title to the extremely strange appearance of Dante Inferno and Silky Rose....Sunshine seems totally shaken up by the man formerly known as the Nightmare Maker.

Mark Windham was seen hanging around the arena.   After the event, someone had spraypainted "THE AWAKENING" on the door of vice-commishioner AJ's makeshift office.

Speaking of the Windhams, I believe I spotted Troy somewhere in the upper tier.  He was sitting with several women and seemed to take a great interest in the Main Event.

Billy Starr, where are you?  It looked as though Mark Vizzack had been scammed by the CORPORATION once again when he and Starr began trading blows, but Starr was also just standing there when Vizzack and Flair were fighting off PLR.  Are his loyalties to the CORPORATION, to PLR ... or somewhere else?

Hornet's most recent injuries along with the death of Timmy Windham, may have just been enough to tempt the former three-time Unified Champion into retirement.  Word from the doctors is that Hornet's back is worse than ever, and any return to the ring is asking for trouble.

Finally, the return of The Deacon to the ranks of the CSWA has delighted fans all over the world, but our resident Champion, "Hurricane" Eddy Love, still insists that there is a lifetime ban on The Deacon in the CSWA ... this one could get ugly.

That's it for now, fans.  I'll catch up with you again after SHOWTIME.
