CSWA SuperPRIMETIME in Chicago

July 19, 1998

Featuring the second and third rounds of the CSWA World Championship Tournament

(A 1998 VW Bug pulls up in the stage entrance of Chicago's United Center.  Former Enterprise World Champion Timmy Windham steps out of the car in jeans and a t-shirt.  CSWA roving reporter M. Harry Smilek approached Windham on his way in.)

SMILEK:    Timmy, welcome back!  Are you here to wrestle tonight?   What about Mark?

TIMMY:    No, I'm not wrestling tonight.  And what about Mark?

SMILEK:    Well...he's the one that almost ended your career...he's the one that...

TIMMY:    I don't have time for this, Harry.  I've got business to attend to.

(In the recesses of the United Center, CSWA co-owner and co-commissioner Chad Merritt has set up a 'control center' office for himself, to monitor the night's happenings.   He's reviewing the advance ticket sales when the phone rings.)

MERRITT:    Merritt here.

VOICE:    No really?  I thought it was Goldilocks.

MERRITT:    Who is this?

VOICE:    I heard you've been looking for me.

MERRITT:    I knew it!  I knew it was you!

VOICE:    Yep, and you almost disturbed my vacation.  That wasn't very nice.

MERRITT:    If I die trying, I'll find you.

VOICE:    What, and kill me?  (laughs)

MERRITT:    Where are you?  That's all I want to know.

VOICE:    Sorry, that would ruin the game, Chad.  But I'll give ya a hint....two weeks, Sweetwater, FISH FUND. (hangs up)

(Timmy Windham has entered the Frat's dressing room.)

TIMMY:    So what is it you want, Troy?

TROY:    Cuz, let me be serious for a minute, dig?  I've seen what you've been through...we both know who did it.  And we both know that nobody's gonna do a thing about it, except you and me.  Hornet's looking past it, Jewels is looking past it.  But you and I, cousin, you and I are in the middle of it.

TIMMY:    Lemme get this straight....*you* wanna help me help Mark?

TROY:    He's gotta be brought to his mizzind, Timmy, one way or another.

BB:  Wrestling fans!  Welcome to CSWA SuperPRIMETIME here in the packed United Center in Chicago, Illinois!   We want to thank those of you joining us at home on U-62 for this very special...and very free... television special.  Tonight, Teri Melton is in the corner of Joey Melton, so she won't be with us.  And as most of you know by now, my usual co-host Sammy Benson is currently suspended.  So, I've been told by CSWA co-commissioner Chad Merritt to do something we've never done before...pick a fan out of the audience to help commentate.  We did that just before the show, and....well, here's John Murray, from right outside Chicago.  Welcome John.

JM:  Hi, Bill.  I just have one thing to say, GO BULLS!  (crowd pops)\

BB:  Thanks, John.  So, (laughs), have you ever been a color commentator before?

JM:  No, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, Bill.

BB:  Oh Lord...that's it, somebody send Stan Parsons out here...I'm not doing this.  Fans, we've got quite a line-up for you tonight, including the second and third rounds of the CSWA World Championship Tournament.

JM:  (as he's being dragged away)  Come back Michael!  Come back to Chicago!

BB:  That's right, the Sweet Sixteen and the Elite Eight, all tonight.  We started in Dallas with 32, and by the end of tonight, we'll be down to the Final Four going into FISH FUND XII:  Fire It Up! in just a couple of weeks in Sweetwater, Texas.  Also tonight, the Unified Tag Team Titles are on the line, as the Swat Team defends against former champs, Disco Express.   We've got plenty of other action tonight, so while we're waiting on Stan to get his big behind up here, let's get things underway!

Bobby Watson vs. Page Michaels

BUCKLEY:   These two have been waiting for this one for a while.  But while the edge in brutality most certainly goes to Bobby Watson, Michaels showed that his almost-win against GUNS was no fluke.  He powered Watson to the mat, negating the edge in brutality.  Michaels continued to go after Watson, keeping the smaller man on the mat with a series of suplexes, and finally, a tombstone piledriver, that gave Michaels the 1...2...3!

'Sexy' Steve Hotbody vs. Spanky Richards

BUCKLEY: Fans we saw the debut of a new wrestler tonight as a surprise guest was in attendance.  "Sexy" Steve Hotbody came to the ring and offered an open challenge to anyone who would be willing to walk down to the ring and face him one on one.  The fit and muscular Hotbody looked like he would leave without a challenge when "Spanky" Richards reluctantly came down to the ring.   Given his apprehension, you could tell that Spanky wasn't really out there by his own choice.   That didn't matter to Hotbody though who immediately went to work and tore into Richards.  Hotbody nailed him with a spinning neckbreaker, a tilt-a-whirl suplex and finished him off with his "Spining Cut" combination Airplane Spin/Diamond Cutter.  Hotbody ended it in less then two minutes and walked away with his first CSWA win.  After the match Hotbody went to an attractive lady at ringside and planted a kiss on her cheek.  She fainted and he left laughing.

Aaron Douglas vs. Crash McLarson

BUCKLEY: Fans this was a see-saw matchup for the first ten minutes with both men putting on an impressive display. Crash surprised Douglas in the beginning, but Aaron was able to hang on and keep the pace with McLarson. McLarson however started to look winded and the superior conditioning of Aaron Douglas really began to show through.   Douglas methodically took apart
McLarson with a fantastic display of offense and ended the match with a Piledriver and a three count.

Elite Domination vs. Degeneration Next

BUCKLEY: Fans we had a tag-team match tonight that had a very special provision involved.   Page Michaels and the wrestler formerly known as Da Crack Baby, collectively known as Elite Domination were signed to take on The Crippler and HBK2000 who are billed as Degeneration Next.  The interesting aspect of this match, was that the loser will be forced at our next card and in humble form offer apologies and praise to the victors AND on top of it be forced to withstand five minutes of punishment from the entire stable of the winning tag-team.

And as of yet, Hornet hasn't renamed the wrestler formerly known as Da Crack Baby, after winning that stipulation in their first round World Tournament matchup in Dallas.

With that said, you can be certain that neither team wanted to lose this battle and they fought hard.  All four men gave it their all tonight, with both teams looking fairly impressive.  Early on it looked like Degeneration Next was going to walk away with the win, as they kept the wrestler formerly known as Da Crack Baby isolated in the wrong corner and worked him over with excellent teamwork.  But the former DCB was able to tag his partner Michaels who was ready to roll and he went wild, taking down both the Crippler and HBK 2000 with repeated roundhouse rights and thunderous dropkicks.   Both teams regrouped and fought on, but Degeneration Next was never able to overcome Page Michaels and Michaels walked away with the win for his team when he nailed The Crippler with a Diamond Cutter.  HBK tried to make the save, but the wrestler formerly known as Da Crack Baby prevented him.  Should be interesting to see what will happen to HBK2000 and The Crippler at our next card.

'Godfather' Vito Corleone vs. Eli Flair

BUCKLEY: Eli led to the ring by Poison Ivy looked like a man possessed tonight.   After an unexpected early defeat in the CSWA World tournament, Eli Flair looked tonight to get back on the winning track and The Godfather had the unfortunate duty of stepping into the ring with him.  Eli showed flashes of pure power tonight in press slamming the Godfather and for a moment we thought he was going to take a page out of GUNS playbook when he considered throwing the Godfather clear into the audience.  Eli continued to pound on him with an array of brawling and power moves, finally ending this after about six minutes with a Running Powerslam.  Ivy stepped into the ring and raised Eli's hand and you can be sure that you will be seeing them in the spotlight again soon.

Shawn Diamond vs. Mysterious

BUCKLEY: We had a short intermission between the matches because the cage had to be properly assembled for our next match, but when it was you could tell that this was going to be a brutal encounter. Not much pure wrestling in this one as both men looked like they had bloodlust.  The cage was a weapon right from the opening bell and it never really stopped being one. Both men were covered in blood, and both were equally up to the challenge. Diamond however looked to be taking the worst of things and for a while looked like he might not be able to continue from the severe bleeding and pure brutality of this match.  But he fought on, only to be outdone by Mysterious in the end when Mysterious went to the top rope and drop kicked Shawn Diamond who was leaning face first on the steel cage at the time. Diamond had no fight left in him and Mysterious easily scored the three count.

Unified Tag Team Titles on the line
SWAT Team vs. Disco Express

BUCKLEY: The highlight of the night however might have been in our tag-team event for the Unified World Tag-Team Championship.  We're going to take you now to the events as they happened.

(Colt of the SWAT team is in the ring against Boogie Man.  Colt looks worn down, he's locked into a Figure Four Leg Lock, and he's trying to reach the ropes. )

PARSONS: I don't think he can do it, he can't reach the ropes.  We could see new champions here.

BUCKLEY: He's close though Stan. He can make it.  His head drops back down though... ONE...TWO... No he gets back up...    Colt now trying to roll over... he looks like he's got it....

MELTON: WAIT... Disco Inferno is in the ring.. the referee is making him get back out...

BUCKLEY: Colt turned it... he's got the ropes...

PARSONS: BUT THERE'S NO REF TO CALL FOR A BREAK...

BUCKLEY: OH MY... The Disco Midget just bit his hand... Colt lets go of the ropes and Boogie used the momentum to bring Colt right back into the middle of the ring.  I don't believe it.

MELTON: The referee didn't see any of it.

BUCKLEY: Inferno now happily on the outside and Worthington turns his attentions back into the ring.  Colt is in big trouble now... ONE...TWO... NO he's able to get his foot back up.   Colt can't get to the ropes, his only hope is to make it to Beretta.

PARSONS: What is Disco Midget doing now.  He's over near Beretta taunting him.   But Beretta is ignoring him..

MELTON: Trying to at least.

PARSONS: He better watch Colt, if they both stretch out, they can almost make a tag.

MELTON: Disco Midget is now attacking Beretta !!! I don't believe this.

BUCKLEY: Neither does Beretta... he's had enough... he just jumped down off the ring apron...  Disco Midget is running for dear life and Beretta is chasing him...   OH MY !!!!

(As Beretta turned the corner Disco Inferno who was hidden from view dove at him with a steel chair, nailing Beretta right in the face. )

BUCKLEY: He got crushed on that one.

PARSONS: In the ring Colt was able to make it to the ropes... he got the break.  But he has no one to tag to.  He's stumbling back to his feet.... Boogie Man... RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP...

BUCKLEY: He got him right back into the middle of the ring... Another Figure Four....   Colt trying to hold on... but it's too much....  HE TAPPED OUT !!! HE TAPPED OUT....  WE HAVE NEW CHAMPIONS.  Disco Express won the Unified Tag-Team Belts.

(Worthington gets the belts and Disco Express gets into the ring and does a little dancing as they are awarded the belts.  As they leave the ring Colt and Beretta are left standing face to face, wondering what went wrong. )

The Wrestler formerly known as Da Crack Baby
vs. Disco Stu

BUCKLEY:  We've already seen one member of this match earlier in the night.  But not quite like this.  Fans, former three-time CSWA World Champion HORNET is on the way down to ringside.  Disco Stu is already in the ring, but the wrestler formerly known as Da Crack Baby is still waiting on his introduction.  We know that following the match in Dallas between Hornet and Da Crack Baby... DCB agreed to the stipulation that Hornet would get to 'rename' him, so to speak.  Since then, DCB has been training at Hornet's Gold's Gym here in Chicago, getting a few pointers.   Let's go down to the ring, where Hornet has the microphone!

HORNET:  Ladies and gentlemen, it's my pleasure to present to you a new young wrestler who is ready to make his *new* name known here in the CSWA.  It's time to introduce to you..... NEMESIS!

BUCKLEY:  Hornet steps out of the ring, as the man now known as Nemesis makes his way down to ringside.  He stops and has a few words with Hornet before climbing in the ring...and it looks like Hornet's going to stay at ringside to cheer Nemesis on.   There's the bell, and Disco Stu charges after Nemesis, putting him on his back with a quick clothesline, followed by an elbow.  But Nemesis dodges a second elbow drop, then pounces on Stu's back, hooking in an armbar on the mat, followed by a half nelson.   He pulls Stu to his feet, then sends him into the ropes after a collar-and-elbow tie-up.   Flying dropkick by Nemesis, and Stu quickly rolls to the outside to catch his breath.  Nemesis follows outside, but gets caught with a kick to the gut by Stu.  Both men roll back in, and now Stu has the edge.  He drops Nemesis with a belly to belly suplex, and follows with a leg drop.  Hornet yells something at Nemesis, and he rolls out of the way of an elbow drop.  Hornet appears to give another direction or two, and now Nemesis sends Stu into the ropes.  He catches him with a tilt-a-whirl suplex that knocks the breath out of Disco Stu!  Now he's got the legs...and he's hooking it in...he's got it...the Scorpion Deathlock!  Stu is nowhere near the ropes, and he doesn't seem to have any breath....he's tapped out.  Nemesis has the win!!!

BB:  Well, Stan, we've already seen new Unified Tag Team Champions crowned, and we haven't even started the next two rounds of the CSWA World Championship Tournament.

SP:  True, Bill.  Hey, by the way, what did they do with that kid who was up here earlier?

BB:  I don't know, and I don't care.  Gethard's in charge of security, so maybe they hung him up by his underwear.  But I can tell you, that at this point, Teri Melton has said that she'll join us.

SP:  Finally, somebody I can talk to.  Welcome, Teri.

BB:  It's always nice to have Teri around.

TM:  Well thank you both, very much.

SP:  We've got some truly premiere matches coming up in this second round...and they can only get better as we make the third round.

BB:  That's right.  Former CSWA World Champion Troy Windham is scheduled to take on former CSWA Presidential Champ Billy Starr.  "Marvelous" Mark Vizzack is going up against Deacon in a battle of the CSWA newcomer heavyweights.   GUNS will take on Eliminator, in a bout where power is paramount.  Michael Sparks and Julius Godreign will heat the ring up, along with Mark Windham vs. Preacher, and many others.  Let's get down to it!!!

CSWA WORLD
HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

SECOND ROUND

Hornet

vs.

Steve Radder

The Iceman got by his tag team partner in the first round, beating "The Godfather," while Hornet took advantage of his win to re-name and train the wrestler now known as Nemesis.  Many commented that maybe Hornet was on a downslide, and could go down in this one.  Others seemed to be underestimating Steve Radder, giving him no shot in this one.

This one started with Steve Radder on top, working on the back of Hornet.  He attacked Hornet with a quick belly-to-belly, following with a sledgehammer blow to the back, and a snap suplex.  A quick one-count averted the end of the match, as Hornet catapulted Radder off of him.  With Hornet on his feet, Radder quickly went for a drop toe hold that missed, as Hornet went airborne with a dropkick.  Hornet followed up with full nelson to a dragon suplex, bridging over for a one-count.

After the kick-out, Radder and Hornet both got to their feet, circling each other, looking to go in for the kill.  Once again, Radder took control, sending Hornet into the ropes and catching the former World Champion with a swinging DDT.  With Hornet on the mat, Radder headed up top to go for the kill, but nobody was home as Radder came down hard on his knee.  Hornet went in for the kill quickly, keeping Radder on the mat with a brainbuster, and then hooking in the Scorpion Deathlock in the middle of the ring for the submission victory.

God's Protege

vs.

Pat Black

The battle of the newcomers, both with big wins in the first round.  Pat Black started out things early with Lady Death in the corner, nailing Protege with a clothesline that sent the youngster into a 360 to the mat.  Protege got to his feet quickly, but got caught off guard after a spin wheel kick from Black.   The man who beat Mike Randalls in the first round pushed Protege to the limit, firing away with a systematic pummelling of kicks, punches and forearms.  Protege finally fought his way out of the corner, scooping the larger man with a body slam, and quickly following with a springboard splash and a figure four leg lock.  After grabbing the ropes to break the hold, Black quickly rolled outside to get a morale booster from Lady Death.  Protege caught his breath, and as Black entered, God's Protege send him sprawling back outside against the guardrail with a baseball slide dropkick.    Protege followed Black outside, using the guardrail to his advantage as he worked to wear down the big man.  Black countered, however, blocking his head from getting slammed to the rail, and instead scooping Protege and dropping him neck-first onto the steel.

As things went on outside, Apocalypse started slowly walking down the aisle, watching the goings-on.  He stopped at the end of the ramp as Black quickly rolled Protege into the ring, breaking the nearly-finished ten-count and went for the cover...only getting a two count on the worn-out Protege.  Black followed with a knee drop to the head, but again, Protege kicked out at two, refusing to let his World Championship dreams die.  Black pulled Protege to his feet, sending him into the ropes for a rolling DDT, but again, Protege refused to give, getting his right shoulder up at the count of two.  Finally, Black took Protege down with a swinging neckbreaker, continuing to capitalize on the beaten body part, and getting the three-count.

After the three-count, Apocalypse entered the ring and stood toe-to-toe with Pat Black for a moment, before helping Black send God's Protege through the ropes to the floor.   The two men shook hands in the middle of the ring, before walking backstage together.

Eddy Love

vs.

Kevin Powers

It could be said that Eddy Love and Kevin Powers are twins born from different mothers. Nearly a clone of one other, Love and Powers had to decide which was the better between the two. Eddy has spared no time at all, in becoming a household name in the CSWA. Getting the better of legends like Mike Randalls. Kevin Powers is still a CSWA virgin.  Proven in other federations but just beginning to set out on the long trek of making a name for himself in the CSWA. It's a shame the match took place in the 1st round, because it was a classic. For over 20 minutes, Love and Powers gave as good as they got. Powers wearing Eddy down moves like the Figure 4, and Double chicken wing. Love countered with a top rope dropkick, sleeper hold, and a devastating STF. The match set the tone for the rest of the evening. In the end, Love pinned him with a Top Rope Sunset Flip.

In an interesting development to the match. Towards the end, members of the CORPORATION came out to ringside. Apparently scouting one or both men.

Preacher

vs.

Mark Windham

The Preacher looked to follow the lead of his fellow CSWA rookies by knocking off a legend. Mark Windham was on of the original 4 members of the CSWA. He's long removed from the days of his Unified World Heavyweight Championship, and 4 reigns as United States champion. Windham hasn't seen the site of gold, in quite a while. As the Preacher looked to usher in a new era, Mark hoped to right his ways. The match lasted less than ten minutes, but it was brutal. The Preacher, who had promised to punish Mark for his wrong deeds, opened the match doing just that. The Preacher took him to task with a powerbomb, chokeslam, and a vicious clothesline. Windham somehow managed to survive. Regaining his composure, Mark went to work on the Preacher..throwing him outside the ring. Once there, he cut him down to size with a chair, and just about anything else he could find. The Preacher though found a few things to his liking. They both beat each other senseless. Back in the ring, Windham nearly lost as a masked man-with E.L stamped on his tights-swung a chair for the Preacher but instead whacked Windham. Windham was able to regroup, and put away the Preacher. As the big man went to the top, Windham seized the moment. Superplexing him from the Top Rope, and then finishing the job with an implant DDT.

Eliminator

vs.

GUNS

BUCKLEY: Two big men, two very different backgrounds.   The Eliminator a
relative unknown here in the CSWA faced off against one of the biggest names
in wrestling history, GUNS.  These two men stood toe to toe for large
portions of this match, as they quickly turned to brawling tactics.  GUNS
with his large muscular build was able to gain the upper hand with the
brawling and was really tearing into the Eliminator.  Eliminator showed some
signs of brawling back into the match but he wasn't able to keep up with
GUNS by going face to face with him.

The match looked just about over when GUNS whipped the Eliminator into the
corner and came barreling in with the Bionic Knee.  But to the surprise of
GUNS... NO ONE WAS HOME.  Eliminator had played possum and was able to slide out of the way to safety.  GUNS crashed hard into the ring post.  Eliminator
quickly followed it up with a diving clothesline and then a powerbomb.  After a two count, the Eliminator again went to the offense, and the two battled back and forth till the Eliminator clotheslined GUNS right over the top rope and down to the arena floor.   Both men hit the cement and looked to be somewhat injured.  The Eliminator made it to his feet first and whipped GUNS through the ring steps...  GUNS was able to get back to his feet and his charge at the Eliminator was met with a Back Body Drop that landed GUNS right back on the cement.  The Eliminator nailed him once more into the ring post this time and then The Eliminator rolled in to escape the count. GUNS was not able to do the same and was counted out.

PARSONS: The arena was so quiet when the referee counted to ten and called
for the bell that it was almost frightful.  No one could believe that GUNS
wasn't going to advance.  I think everyone, myself included had thought he'd
be in the final four... if not in the final match.

BUCKLEY: I totally agree Stan.  GUNS, considered by most to be one of the
best in the sport, if not already a legend, was thought to be the top man in
that bracket, but he was unable to meet the expectations.  One really has to
wonder how good this Eliminator can be.

MELTON: Well don't forget he wasn't able to really beat GUNS...  a countout
victory is at best weak.  GUNS will probably still be a force and now he has
a mission... REVENGE.  If he's the same as he used to be, you can guarantee
that he'll be back looking to even the score.

Julius Godreign

vs.

Michael Sparks

BUCKLEY: The old battled the new tonight as CSWA fresh face Michael Sparks
did battle with long time veteran of the wrestling world, Julius Godreign.  The two faced off in what was a very interesting and well fought scientific match for the first ten minutes.  Both men showing impressive technical apptitude as they kept long portions of the match on the mat, using various headlocks, arm bars, chinlocks, submission holds, and the like.   Godreign though, the crafty veteran took advantage of a mishap and began to look like he was going to dominate the match up.  He wrapped up Sparks and brought him thundering down with a Belly to Belly Suplex, which he followed up with a Spinebuster. Godreign followed this attack up with a Scorpion Deathlock.   Godreign looked on the verge of winning this match when Joey Melton ran down to the ringside area.  Melton who was looking for revenge on Godreign from round one, was stopped by security and the referee. Godreign let go of the deathlock, waiting for to see if Melton would make it into the ring and attack him...  But while the referee was distracted with Melton and all of this was occuring, Peyton Wright came out of the audience on the far side of the ring and laid out Julius with a steel chair to the back of the head. Sparks had no choice other then to lay on the fallen Godreign and score an easy three count.   Melton who had been restrained, stopped protesting and laughed his way all the way back to the dressing room area.

MELTON: This goes to show you two things right here.  One you better not
mess with the Corporation, because revenge is something very sweet and
something the Corporation and my brother Joey in particular is very good at.
And secondly Sparks with a bit of assistance here, but still an impressive
young wrestler who has a legitimate chance of making it all the way.

PARSONS: Ironic that you say that, considering he'll have to face Billy Starr, if your man is going to make it to the finals.  Does your comment say more about this tournament then you are lettting on ?

MELTON: Hey Mulder, stop trying to be Super Detective and do what you are
paid for... fill in for a drunk know nothing announcer.

BUCKLEY: OK, let's take it easy folks.  We've still got a lot more action
here tonight, with some big names trying to advance to Fish Fund, for their
chance at CSWA Glory.

Troy Windham

vs.

Billy Starr

BUCKLEY: Fans what a tremendous matchup we had tonight when two big talents in the CSWA collided here in the second round.  Two men with great track records here in the CSWA and a strong desire to become the next CSWA World Champion.

PARSONS: That's right, it was former CSWA World Champion Troy Windham,
facing the two time CSWA Intra-Continental Champion Billy Starr. And as a
side note, our broadcast partner Teri Melton did leave the booth to be at
ringside tonight for Billy's match.

BUCKLEY: And although she was at ringside, the real action was in the ring.
These two men put on what should be considered a match of the year candidate.  From the opening bell on they kept a fast paced high intensity
match, that at times looked like it could have gone either way.  Windham
controlled the early portions of the match, wearing down Billy with a plethora of offensive maneuvers.  He even scored a couple of near falls and two counts and people honestly thought that Billy was just outclassed.

PARSONS: But Starr recaptured the momentum when Troy missed with a risky,
top rope Flying Body Press.  Starr, after getting his breath back, decided it was his turn to shine.  Starr looked fantastic as he landed a series of moves on Windham... Arm Drag followed by a second Arm Drag... then a Drop Kick... Irish Whip... Spinning PowerSlam.  He was on fire... but was only able to get a quick count.

BUCKLEY: Starr though kept up the pace and continued his attack on Windham,
wearing down the former World Champion.  Windham though would not give up
without a fight and at times looked like he was turning things around, but it only lasted for short periods of time before Starr was able to recover.

PARSONS: Godreign even considered getting involved to help his ally in the
Frat but he was stopped by Randall Jaminson of the Corporation, who had
strategically placed their members in cognito around ringside.

BUCKLEY:  It was at this point in time when Windham was noticing his partner
in crime getting escorted back away from the ringside area that Billy Starr
rolled him up and scored the three count.

PARSONS: We are joined here by Teri Melton, the manager of Billy Starr. Teri, I guess you being at ringside will dispel the rumors of trouble in the Corporation and between you and Starr ?

MELTON: Stan, I'm here as a broadcaster, as part of this team.  Not to answer irrelevant questions about my other job.

BUCKLEY: Alrighty then....  Billy Starr advances to round three, one step closer to Fish Fund and the final four.

CSWA World Tournament Second Round
Mark Vizzack    vs    Deacon

BB:  Billy Starr with the win over Troy Windham!  I'm told we're ready for our final second round match...and this one promises to be a doozy as well.  We've got the man who entered the CSWA by winning a 20-man over-the-top battle royal, and a young man who has already established himself with an undefeated record, his last win against the impressive Aaron Douglas.

TM:  That match could have gone either way, Bill, and Vizzack deserves the credit for taking Douglas out of the tournament.

BB:  Tonight he looks to take one more step...but the master of the Altar Call is there to challenge him, with the Shepherd at his side.

SP:  Deacon has shown already that he can do just about anything...in singles...in tag as one-half of Moral Majority...

BB:  True.  Fans, both men have made their entrances.  Deacon is still outside, apparently having a pre-match prayer with the Shepherd, while Vizzack is giving some last minute encouragement to Sunshine.

SP:  What's Vizzack doing?  He just pointed at someone, and now he and Sunshine are climbing out of the ring.

TM:  It looks like he recognized someone at ringside.

BB:  Indeed.  He's chatting away in the front row with a young man that looks like he may be a wrestler.  He has a t-shirt that says "Daredevils of BWL" on.  Fans, we'll try and get you some more information as the night progresses on just who that is.

SP:  Whoever he is, even Sunshine likes him...he just picked her up in a big bear hug.

BB:  It looks like referee Ben Worthington is asking Vizzack to break up whatever reunion is going on..he's ready to get this match underway.  And there's the bell.   Vizzack and Deacon are underway...the winner heads into the Elite Eight later tonight.  Deacon has the obvious size and power advantage in this, over a foot height advantage, and one hundred pounds in weight.  And he uses it to fullest to start things off, body slamming Vizzack to the mat.  Vizzack is up quickly, but Deacon grabs hold and whips him into the ropes, catching the smaller man with a spinebuster!!!!   That winded Vizzack, but the early cover by Deacon hardly gets a one-count.   Deacon follows with an elbow drop to the chest, and quickly hooks the leg again.   Again, Vizzack kicks out, and quickly rolls outside.  He takes a breather, heading over to Sunshine, who is still with the visitor in the first row.

SP:  I've been told by a little birdie in my ear that Vizzack's friend down front is none other than "Flyboy" Julius Kessler, an old tag team partner of Mark's in a regional promotion where he got his start.

TM:  Not a bad friend to have around when you've got about 31 other guys aiming at you.\

BB:  Kessler gives Vizzack a pep talk, and now the smaller man rolls back in to face Deacon once again.  The big man grapples with Vizzack, but Mark uses his quickness to get behind Deacon and catch him with a german suplex.

TM:  That had to take a lot out of Vizzack...getting 324 pounds over his head like that.

BB:  He wasn't able to maintain the bridge, but quickly gets back to his feet, again using speed to keep Deacon on the mat with fist to the midsection.  He follows with a flip-flop roll over the midsection of Deacon.  Vizzack goes for the early cover, but Deacon catapults him off, sending the 24 year old halfway across the ring.   Deacon slams Vizzack into the near corner, and then delivers a series of knife-edge chops that can be heard throughout the arena.

TM:  Oh no, look who's making his way down.

BB:  Folks, Eddy Love is on his way down...but it appears he's coming this way.

EL:  Hiya folks.  Just came to make a statement regarding Sammy Benson.

SP:  Oh Lord.

BB:  In the ring, Deacon just chokeslammed Vizzack out of the corner and planted him in the middle of the ring!  He covers....ONE..........TWO.......NO!!!!!   Mark Vizzack gets the shoulder up!

EL:  Thanks for the dramatics, Buckley.  Anyway, I just want to mention what a travesty of justice it is that Sammy Benson's first amendment rights of free speech have been violated.  Not to mention the fact that he's now been *suspended* from his well-paying job because of it.  I smell a lawsuit, folks.  And for those of you that would like to support Sammy, please send your checks to the Sammy Benson Defense Fund at...excuse me just a moment!

BB:  What's going on here???  Deacon catches Vizzack with an elbow drop, but still only gets two....and now...

TM:  Now....the masked man with E.L. printed on his tights is charging down the aisle with a chair in his hand!!!  And Eddy Love just jumped up on the ring apron!!!!

BB:  The Shepherd is yelling at Deacon to let him know what's going on.....but Deacon turns around just in time for a chair to the face by the masked man!!!!   Obviously, Love and the masked man we all thought was Love, are in collusion!   They're partners!

SP:  And Deacon's on the losing side of this battle.  Love still has the ref's attention, and now the masked man just delivered a chairshot to the head of Vizzack as well!!!  The Shepherd is trying to pull Deacon outside to the floor, but the masked man pulls Deacon to the center of the ring....and he just put Vizzack on top of Deacon!!!

TM:  What's the point of nailing them both just to help Vizzack?

BB:  Love jumps down off the ring apron, and now Ben Worthington turns around to see Vizzack pinning Deacon!  He hesitates for a moment...he knows that *something* has happened outside of his field of vision.

SP:  But he doesn't know what...because the masked man took off into the back, which is where Eddy Love is headed!

BB:  There's the count!  ONE............TWO..............NO!!!!!!!  The big man gets the shoulder up, and Deacon is still in this one!!!

TM:  Don't forget, Vizzack is still dazed as well, both men took shots to the head.

BB:  Vizzack seems to be stirring first, he quickly catches Deacon with a belly to belly suplex...and now it looks like he's headed up top!

SP:  Meanwhile, on the outside, Shepherd is standing right against the apron...and he appears to be chanting.  What's he saying, Buckley?  Dominate....

BB:  It's Latin, Stan...it must be Dominus something....  Anyway, Vizzachero is up top, ready to come off with what appears to be a top rope fist drop.  BUT DEACON GETS TO HIS KNEES AND DIVES!  He hit the top rope....and Vizzack just did the splits on the top turnbuckle!!!!!

TM:  It's amazing what a good manager can do for you on the outside...whether in English or Latin.

BB:  Vizzack is hurt....he tumbles off the top rope like a ragdoll.  Both men are still dazed, but this time it is Deacon that seems to have the advantage.  The Shepherd is still chanting at Deacon...whether simply encouragement or commands, I'm not sure.  But Deacon is on his feet, and headed toward the corner whether Vizzack is writhing in pain.  He pulls Vizzack out of the corner with a sidewalk slam, and it looks like Deacon is ready to put this one away.  Deacon sends Vizzack vertical for the suplex...............and DOWN!!!!!  But Vizzack's leg clipped Ben Worthington on the side of the head, and the referee is down in the corner....partially dazed.

TM:  This just is *not* Ben's night.

BB:  Deacon realizes what has happened....and while he may not be able to get the pin, he can certainly stay on top of Vizzack.  He pulls Mark to his feet , and then levels him with an inverted powerslam.   Deacon pulls Vizzack to his feet one more time and sends him hurtling into the near turnbuckle.  Now the big man picks up Vizzack like a rag doll and sits him atop the turnbuckle...facing the crowd.

SP:  Can you hear the Altar Call??????

BB:  This crowd can, because they are going WILD!!!!

TM:  Apparently so can Aaron Douglas....because he just jumped out of the crowd and leveled the Shepherd from behind with a clothesline!!!!!

BB:  Deacon is on the second turnbuckle....he's lifting Vizzack behind his back and over his head!!!  Douglas jumps on the apron....he's got the Shepherd's metal crook!!!!!  And he give Deacon his second shot to the head of the night!!!!!   Deacon lets go of Vizzack who falls back to the turnbuckle...as Deacon does!  Worthington is up in the opposite corner...but he hasn't seen any of this.

SP:  What's new?

BB:  Now Vizzack is pulling himself to his feet on top....he grabs hold of Deacon!   TORNADO DDT FROM THE TOP ROPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Vizzack hits hard but covers!   ONE......................................TWO............................... THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Mark Vizzack gets the win with an incredible maneuver...but also with a little help from Aaron Douglas!  Folks, we've gotta take a break.

CSWA WORLD
HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT

THIRD ROUND

BB:  Wow, eight matches down, with four still to go.  We've already seen some massive surprises...

TM:  The biggest of which has to be the losses by GUNS and Julius Godreign.

BB:  GUNS was supposed to be one of the number one seeds coming into this thing...and Godreign was at least a two.

SP:  And they've both gone by the wayside...and the Eliminator and Mark Vizzack have shown what they're made of tonight.

BB: They're two of the eight men left in this thing:  along with number one seed Hornet, number two seed Mark Windham, and former Presidential Champ Billy Starr who pulled what has to be considered an upset victory over Troy Windham.

TM:  An upset by some, maybe.

SP:  You might be just a *little* biased there, Teri.

TM:  Maybe, maybe not. (smiles)

BB:  Along with Eddy Love, Michael Sparks, and Pat Black, those are the eight men, four of whom will take one step closer to becoming the new CSWA World Champion.   We'll be right back after these messages here on U-62!

CSWA World Tournament Quarterfinals
Mark Vizzack    vs    Billy Starr

BILL BUCKLEY: We thank you for returning with us here to the United Center in Chicago. A few minutes ago we witnessed Eddy Love advance to the FINAL FOUR. Our final match of the night in Bracket two pits Mark Vizzack against Billy Starr.

STAN PARSONS: We've seen a year's worth of top quality matches tonight, and this will be yet another. Starr's fully recovered from the injury he suffered two years ago. You look at the success he's had in his career, he's been a World Champion in almost every federation he's wrestled for. All but the CSWA. The one he wants the most. To get to the FINAL FOUR he'll have his toughest test to date.

BILL BUCKLEY: Mark Vizzack another newcomer to the CSWA who's vaulted to the top of the rankings in a matter of weeks. Nicknamed the DareDevil for his risks inside the ring, his biggest risk outside of it would have to be Sunshine his valet.

STAN PARSONS: I'm not exactly sure what her problem is. Apparently she has quite a few. I don't think this environment is where she needs to be at. Mental stability is not her strong suit, Bill.

BILL BUCKLEY: I'm being told we're ready for the match. Rhubarb take it away!

(both men are introduced)

BILL BUCKLEY: Vizzack and Starr lock up in the middle of the ring! Starr forces Vizzack into the ropes before shooting him across the ring. Dropkick by Starr catches Mark off guard! Starr single leg take down, now to an STF! Submission move right here!

STAN PARSONS:  Starr bypassing the 'feeling out' period, and going straight for the kill.

BILL BUCKLEY: Vizzack too close to the ropes, for a submission...Starr breaks the hold as ordered. Vizzack uses the ropes to pull himself up. Billy Starr gives him no time to rest....savat kick to the gut. Whips him across the ring, Vizzack ducks the clothesline attempt....and surprises Starr with a flying body press!! Quick cover, 1.........2.......no!! Almost a 3 count.

STAR PARSONS: You already see the power he generates in the air. Vizzack loves to go air borne!

BILL BUCKLEY: Vizzack kicks Starr's left foot out from under him! Standing Frank'n'Steiner! Billy is dazed after that awesome move! The DareDevil, goes to the outer edge of the ring apron. Starr to his feet, and Vizzack comes    off with flying leg scissors! 360 savat kick that sends Starr outside the ring!

STAN PARSONS: What a series of moves, Bill. This is the kind of aerial attack that Vizzack has used to capture independent titles across the country!

BILL BUCKLEY: Vizzack is on the top rope......flying body press to the outside!! He's not done yet... he's setting up entrance steps...Stan it looks as if he'll fly off the steps!

STAN PARSONS: We've seen this before, Bill. Could this be a Hurricarana?

BILL BUCKLEY: Vizzack leaps off the stairs.....but Starr catches up and there's a powerslam! Oh man...he drove Vizzack through the cement floor! Teri Melton who's at ringside shows her approval. Starr obviously shaken by the events of the last few minutes, throws Vizzack into the iron post! Melton rolls Mark inside the ring, as Starr makes his way through the ropes.

STAN PARSONS: Turned out to be one risk too many for Vizzack...Starr in control now, and with a second wind.

BILL BUCKLEY: Starr shoots Vizzack across the ring, gets him on the rebound....fallaway slam! Quickly into a Boston crab!! Mark is in trouble! Starr has the Boston crab hooked in the middle of the ring!! Look at this Stan, Sunshine is on the apron!!

STAN PARSONS: This is out of character.

BILL BUCKLEY: She's on the apron yelling for her man to counter the hold! Teri Melton jogs over and she yanks Sunshine off the apron!! oh..if Sammy were here right now indeed! Teri just screamed something at Sunshine and she's taken off running! Vizzack, back in the ring, powers out of the Boston crab!! He kicks Starr in the gut, bounces off the ropes...and executes a swinging neckbreaker!

STAN PARSONS: He's looking for Sunshine..and sees her all the way near the back of the entrance way! Vizzack has lost his focus!

BILL BUCKLEY: Starr clips the knee from behind!! That looked vicious! Starr goes for the STF again and gets it! How much pain can Vizzack withstand after that  clip! Time running out it appears...he's gotta counter in the next few seconds...or risk serious injury!

STAN PARSONS: I don't think he can Bill....he's too far from the ropes... there it is he tapped out!!

BILL BUCKLEY: Worthington's calling for the bell, Billy Starr wins by submission! He moves on to the FINAL FOUR! Vizzack Stan had to do it..otherwise his career was in jeopardy!

STAN PARSONS: No choice....after Sunshine left..it obviously through him..they've been through a lot of turmoil the past two weeks...it showed here tonight.  That's what I was saying earlier...she's too much of a risk. You must be one cohesive unit out there. They weren't, and Starr moves on!

BILL BUCKLEY: Great match by Starr, and he stands just two wins away from his dream! We've gotta take a break we'll be back with Eliminator/Michael Sparks!

CSWA World Tournament Quarterfinals
Eliminator    vs    Michael Sparks

BILL BUCKLEY: Once again we're back. Two more matches remain. In the last half hour, Eddy Love and Billy Starr have laid claim to two of the four spots in the FINAL FOUR. We turn our attention to Bracket #1. We're getting ready for Eliminator vs Michael Sparks.

STAN PARSONS: Most everyone expected this Quarter-Final match to be between GUNS and Julius Godreign. But, a shocking turn of events tonight. As the Eliminator garnered his biggest win to date beating the legendary GUNS. Not to be outdone, Michael Sparks ended Julius Godreign's bid to become World champion.

BILL BUCKLEY: Bad night all around for the Frat. Let's turn things over to Rhubarb Jones!

(both men are introduced)

(due to the lack of roleplay for this match, it'll be done in short form)

BILL BUCKLEY: After their respective upsets earlier in the night, both men appeared worn out. Eliminator, going in to the match was the favorite. Sparks, has been making a name for himself in other federations, and with the upset over Godreign served notice his time is now. Eliminator started quickly, and in an early 5 minute burst nearly put away Sparks. Using a powerbomb, and a devasting top rope clothesline he did his best to eliminate Sparks. After a double arm powerbomb all but finished Sparks,  Eliminator was spent. The battle from GUNS, had all but drained his energy. Sparks managed to kick out, and it was the last time he was on the defensive. Sparks rallied behind a series of aerial moves. The end came when Eliminator's knee hit the middle turnbuckle after charging Sparks. The X-man, took advantage and gained the submission with a Step-Over-Toe-Hold.

Winner: MICHAEL SPARKS

CSWA World Tournament Quarterfinals
Mark Windham    vs    Eddy Love
(w/Sweet Melissa)

BILL BUCKLEY: Welcome back to U-62. Stan, I feel comfortable in saying it's been a very interesting night thus far. Long night atleast. We're moving on to the last match in Bracket #2. Eddy Love slipped past Kevin Powers to gain a Quarter-Final birth. Outside of the match result, the most noticeable item was Powers joining the Corporation!

STAN PARSONS: Ray S. and Joey Melton have spent a lot of time and effort to carefully map out the return of the faction that once ruled the CSWA--the Corporation. Kevin Powers is a young kid, who stumbled tonight but has a bright future ahead of him. We may not always like their tactics, but Melton and Cornette can shape young talent better than anyone in the business.

BILL BUCKLEY: Goes without saying the Corporation is alive and well. Eddy Love moved on, I know that pleases Sammy Benson. Sammy if you're watching....can't really say we miss you, but hope you're enjoying tonight's show nonetheless. Mark Windham defeated the Preacher, and now it's time for the Eddy Young    vs  Mark Windham. Stan how do you see this matchup?

STAN PARSONS: I hope pretty well, considering I'm not more than 5 feet from the ring. ::coughs:: sorry bad joke. Eddy by no means is a modest man. A lot of arrogant men have walked through the CSWA doors, Bill. But, it's quite possible that Eddy Love takes the cake. He's cocky, but so talented. He'll be a handful for Mark tonight. Windham, it's been well documented he's bloody well out of his gourd.

BILL BUCKLEY: That's one way of putting it Stan.

STAN PARSONS: The Awakening, I dunno Bill. Mark's life has been turned upside down. If he can't make sense of it, that rules out anyone else trying to. If there has been one constant with Windham, it's been his work inside the squared circle. Based on his showing in Dallas, he's in peak form.

BILL BUCKLEY: Right now we're headed to Rhubarb Jones for the introductions!

(both men are introduced)

BILL BUCKLEY: There's the bell, and it's Windham attacking  Love from the word go! Windham clubbed him in the back, while  Sweet Melissa  was offering a good luck kiss. Mark has Love backed into the turnbuckle, buckling his knees with hard right hands!

STAN PARSONS: His mind may be lost, but he's focused on this match!

BILL BUCKLEY:  Windham drives his shoulder into Love's gut! Eddy is in early trouble. Mark whips Love across the ring and into the opposite turnbuckle, where he follows with a clothesline! Windham grabs Eddy's legs, he's hooking in the figure 4!! Love is in pain, you can see it written on his face!

STAN PARSONS: He's gotta do what he can to make his way to the ropes...something to break this hold! Otherwise, it'll be a quick night for Windham.

BILL BUCKLEY: Sweet Melissa just slipped through the ropes, and she unhooked the legs! That's a DQ come on Worthington call it! Should be, but he's not signaling for it. Mark rolls outside, he's going after Sweet Melissa!!

STAN PARSONS: He may be going through a messy divorce, but now is not the time to get a date for after the show.

BILL BUCKLEY: (sarcastically) Sammy is that you? Stan I don't think he has good intentions. Melissa is backing up towards the entrance ramp....the fans are going wild, they wanna see Windham give her what she has coming! He's got her by the arm!! OH! From behind Eddy Love with a chair.

STAN PARSONS: It's my guess that Worthington has thrown out the rule book. Honestly, i think it's a good idea. Let these two go at it.

BILL BUCKLEY: Eddy Love fires Mark's head into the security railing! He's in position..... suplex on the railing! Make no bones about it, Eddy can tear you apart out there. Sweet Melissa with a chair shot! This is getting out of hand! Maybe 2on1 is fine for his love life, but it's uncalled for here! Eddy's leading Windham back towards the ring. Mark surprises Love with  an elbow to the chops...he throws Love into the entrance steps!

STAN PARSONS: It's so dangerous for both men to be outside the ring. One wrong move, and a career can be ended. A guy like Mike Randalls makes a living out of the ring, but both would be wise to move back in the ring. Especially with so much at stake.

BILL BUCKLEY: Couldn't agree more, Stan. Windham is going to piledrive Eddy onto the cement floor! It's this very move that has reeked havoc with for the last 4 years!  Love is up, but he manages to fight his way back down and buck Windham up and over his back! A counter move that quite possibly saved his career.

STAN PARSONS: When you're giving up a significant difference in both height and weight, counter attacks are a must. And Love turned the tide with a backdrop perfectly executed..

BILL BUCKLEY: Eddy wisely rolls Mark back in the ring. After a series of kicks to the body, he brings Windham to his feet. Hooks the lights, Slingshot suplex! Here's the pin for a birth in the Final Four....1.......2...no! The look on his face says it all....he tasted a place in the Final Four at FISH FUND XII!

STAN PARSONS: No time to think about what could have been, he has to get back to work quickly.

BILL BUCKLEY: He does just that. Whips Windham into t he ropes, and hits him with a flying dropkick! Love signals to Melissa..she's handed him a chair!! Good grief, a warning by the ref would be nice!

STAN PARSONS: Worthington grabbed for the chair, but Love just ushered him aside. At this point, Merritt and Thomas have to let everything go. A World Champion must be crowned.

BILL BUCKLEY: Love using that train of thought to his advantage. He sets the chair in the middle of the ring...he has a running start, flies off the chair and tries for a hurricarana!!...Mark catches him in position, running powerbomb!! This is it!! 1......2.......th--no!!! How in the world did    Love kick out!??

STAN PARSONS: Gut check time right now!

BILL BUCKLEY: You've always wanted to say that haven't you Bill?.....Windham to his feet...now he has the chair in his hands!! Listen to this crowd!!! Eddy's been wielding a chair a lot lately, some would say..now Windham has his turn to bring redemption to the past! Mark cocks the chair, WHAT IS SHE DOING!?? Sweet Melissa is in the ring..she just tackled Ben Worthington! Mark's trying to pry her off!

STAN PARSONS: Oh if Sammy were here right now..

BILL BUCKLEY: Eddy just pulled something out of his tights...it's a black glove! Loaded no doubt! For crying out loud, turn around Mark!! Ohhhhhhhh....Love just blasted Windham with the glove...Melissa slips outside to retrieve the glove! This is..... sickening!

STAN PARSONS: It's about to get worse, Love with a backslide!!

BILL BUCKLEY: Worthington to make the cover......1..........2............3!!! Eddy Love moves on to the Final Four at FISH FUND XII! I can't believe it. No...sadly I can. Love and Melissa strike again...

(Eddy Love outside the ring looking into a camera...covered in sweat and out of breath. Melissa is ecstatic)

EDDY LOVE: (breathing deep) I told you, kids. When Eddy Love goes to the Fair. He always comes back with the Teddy Bear.

BILL BUCKLEY: And a loaded glove.... we've got to take a break. Heaven only knows what this will do to Windham. Better put security on alert. We'll be back.

CSWA World Tournament Quarterfinals
Hornet    vs    Pat Black

BILL BUCKLEY: Welcome back, fans! We're ready for the last match of the evening. Stan it feels like we've been here for a week....long night, that's finally coming to an end.

STAN PARSONS: We started when the night was still young, it's close to midnight and there's still one more to go.

BILL BUCKLEY: Final match in Bracket #1. 3-time UNIFIED World Heavyweight Champion HORNET will take on a surprising Pat Black. I'll be honest, Stan I didn't think Black would be in the Quarter-Finals. Especially, with his 1st round pairing with Mike Randalls.

STAN PARSONS: You're right, Bill. Nobody gave Black a chance to advance. And that was warranted considering his opponent. Randalls has been one of the most dominating wrestlers over the last five years. But, he pulled off the upset and here he is one win shy of the FINAL FOUR.

BILL BUCKLEY: HORNET over the last two years has been consistently good, but no World Titles. He's been in this sport for ten years. Started in the CSWA when he was 23 years old...Stan are his better days behind him?

STAN PARSONS: I don't think so Bill. When you're at the top of the mountain for such a long period of time, eventually you will get knocked off. HORNET's been trying to climb back up it for the last couple of years, and to this point has been unsuccessful. Let's not forget his feud with GUNS, that's been an obsession of his. We can all hope that GUNS being out of the tournament means HORNET will focus and perhaps bring home another World Title.

BILL BUCKLEY: I'm sure he'd like nothing better. Rhubarb Jones is ready for our Main Event!

(both men are introduced)

BILL BUCKLEY: The bell rings, and it's Black tieing up HORNET in the middle of the ring! After a short struggle, Black backs Hornet into the corner. Clean break? No! Pat with a left jab to the mush. Black now pounding away on Hornet. He's on the middle rope, firing shots down...

STAN PARSONS: Taking the match to Hornet, that's a smart move. Whether it'll pay off or not, I dont know.

BILL BUCKLEY: Hornet's had enough, he wraps his arms around Black's legs...walks out a ways and modified spinebuster! Hornet's GOING FOR THE SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! Black finds the ropes just in time...that would have been it!!

STAN PARSONS: No man has ever gotten out of the Scorpion, atleast not when applied by the former champ.

BILL BUCKLEY: Hornet backs Pat into the ropes, fires him across the ring......flying body press! Hornet rocks Black with a dropkick! Heart kick! Back into the corner, and fired into the opposite turnbuckle! This could be the Hornet Splash Stan!!

STAN PARSONS: Here he comes!!....Black moves out of the way! Hornet hit hard up against the turnbuckles!

BILL BUCKLEY: Belly to back suplex by Black! He's gathered himself a bit. Pat throws one arm behind his neck...Standing Vertical Suplex! Cover for the FINAL FOUR ......1....2...no! Not that time. Black scoops up Hornet, side-slam!

STAN PARSONS: It was this type of execution that knocked off Randalls. Any thought that he'd be content to this point is out the window.

BILL BUCKLEY: Pat reaches around Hornet, for a cross face chicken wing! The game plan is simple...he's going after the back! It's been Hornet's Achilles'' heel for years now! Give the man credit..he's done his homework!

STAN PARSONS: Exactly. He didn't come here to wrestle, he came to win!

BILL BUCKLEY: Hornet's trying to power out of the move...he's up on 4s! Hornet to his feet, with Black riding on his back....the former Unified champ throws himself into the turnbuckle and Black is forced to let go! Inverted atomic drop by Hornet! He bounces off the ropes, grabs Pat's head and drives it into the apron!

STAN PARSONS: He's back in this match now!! Hornet with a head full of steam!

BILL BUCKLEY: He's going to the top rope!! Black gets to his feet.....Hornet flies off with a Shooting Star Press! He loves that move!! Hornet raises his hand as the crowd goes wild, this could be the end! He grabs the legs, there it is..the SCORPION DEATHLOCK!!

STAN PARSONS: Black is in all kinds of trouble now....it's as good as over, Bill.

BILL BUCKLEY: Hornet's hooked it in good.....and there's the tap out! Black submits! The United Center erupts as HORNET earns a place in the FINAL FOUR! Good match by both guys!

STAN PARSONS: Black put a scare into Hornet. Beating Randalls and Hornet though proved to be too much for one man to do.

BILL BUCKLEY: We're flush out of time. We'll see you soon! Remember to check the CS Tribune on our website for the latest news! 32 men have been cut to 4! Eddy Love, HORNET, Billy Starr, and Michael Sparks will go to FISH FUND XII with the chance to take home the gold! Goodnight everyone!  We'll see you at...
