FRIDAY NIGHT FURY 7/14/97 VOICE OVER: Ladies and Gentlemen, FRIDAY NIGHT FURY BUCKLEY: Bill Buckley here and I'm joined tonight by a new co-host and new member of the CSWA team, Donnie Samples. As you probably are well aware, Sammy Benson was arrested in Orlando and his fate is yet to be decided. MERRITT: WHO HIRED HIM !!!! Who gave anyone permission to hire new on air personalities? SAMPLES: Well actually I was hired by Vice Commissioner A.J. Honold. MERRITT: And who gave him the authority to do anything I never even signed HIM to be a part of the CSWA. That was Thomas who did that and we know what happened to him. BUCKLEY: So does Donnie have the job or is he going to be the next victim of your "security." MERRITT: Keep it up Buckley and YOU may be the next "Victim." As for you Donnie Samples, you've got the job for now . on the condition that you do your job well. GOT IT !!! BUCKLEY: Well like I was saying, welcome to the CSWA Donnie. SAMPLES: What a welcome. BUCKLEY: Fans we have a great night of action ready for you the CSWA Intra-Continental Championship Tournament and in addition, a special mystery wrestler will make his debut here tonight. SAMPLES: What a psycho that Merritt is. BUCKLEY: Ah Donnie we haven't gone too commercial yet. SAMPLES: Ooops. ************************************************************ MYSTERY MAN v. CARL BRIGSBY ************************************************************ BUCKLEY: Fans we are back and ready for our first match. We've gotten word that this mystery wrestler might be someone from the past and I know that I'm anxious to see what is going to happen. Carl Brigsby is in the ring waiting for his opponent, who isn't coming down to ringside yet. SAMPLES: Great a no-show. Just what we need for the first match on a new card. Fabulous. BUCKLEY: Someone wearing a mask is running down to the ring, he nails Brigsby with a big clothesline that sends Carl to the canvas. Carl gets back up, Flying Drop Kick by the masked man. Brigsby again on the canvas and he's a little slow to his feet this time, he's up though and gets leveled again by a big flying body block. Cover ONE, KICKOUT by Brigsby. The masked wrestler lifts Brigsby back to his feet, and scoops him up RUNNING POWERSLAM. Cover ONE TWO KICKOUT. SAMPLES: Whoever this is, he looks pretty impressive. He's got a lot of momentum here and he's in fantastic shape. Now all he has to do is finish off this guy. BUCKLEY: Well, he's gotten Brigsby back to his feet again, POWER BOMB. That could be all, but NO he's going to the ropes climbs up to the second rope and does a diving leg drop. Cover ONE TWO THREE Easy win for the masked man and in the process of it, he showed a few different types of moves. SAMPLES: You said it well Buckley. Not only does he finish off this opponent in less then a minute, but he does so using a few different styles. Power moves, moves from the ropes, drop kicks, this guy looks like he has a lot of weapons in his arsenal, but who is he. BUCKLEY: He's in the middle of the ring now and he looks like he is going to take the mask off right here on Fury. He's doing it . IT'S DREAM WARRIOR !!!!!! The former EN World Champion is here and back in action. SAMPLES: EN Title, isn't that the belt that someone picked out of the garbage can ? BUCKLEY: Yes it is, but in the past the title meant something, before Merritt corrupted it, when he gave it to Scotty Michaels. One of those fantastic wrestlers was this man, DREAM WARRIOR and fans he's back in the CSWA. This certainly has been an interesting week to see old faces back in the CSWA. Joey Melton, JT Tyler, Hornet and now Dream Warrior. Fans that match was so quick that I've been told that we're going to the back to talk with the Tri-State Terrorists before the commercial break. JOE MASSACRE: Swwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttt.. That's right you're looking at the Unified Tag-Team Champions in living color. Not only that but you're also looking at the next Intra-Continental Champion. Which man you may ask, well it could be either of my buddies here. TROY MARTINEZ: That's right Mad Joe, but it's not going to interfere in our plans. Steve Morton-Fiennes listen up out there. First of all what's with this name thing. You get married and not want to keep your maiden name b!tch ? Oh well, you think that your CS Express was so good huh, well Killer Instinct is going to make them look like crap. We're going to break all the records and set all the standards because WE are the best team to ever get into a wrestling ring. JOE MASSACRE: That's right Troy, Killer Instinct and the Tri-State Terrorists are here and we plan on doing some real damage. Fiennes you ever get involved in our business again, and you won't be so lucky to still be standing. Because Killer Instinct and the Tri-State Terrorists don't need any help from a washed up has been. GOT THAT. JASON WYLDER: The Terrorists are tearing it up here. And the I-C title is the next little treasure for us to take. Will it be my main man Troy here, or will it be Scott Powell or will it be myself, who cares.. it's still the TST. Starr tonight, you go down. "SUPERSTAR" SCOTT POWELL: What can I say, the men here before me speak teh truth. The TST is ready to take over the wrestling world and there isn't a thing that anyone can do about it. You hear that Muffin Man, nothing you can do. ALL MEMBERS: SSSSSSWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTT BUCKLEY: OK fans we're back and as you've been told by Rudy Seitzer in the control center, the Intra-Continental Title will be decided in a single elimination tournament, with all the matches appearing on this new show, Friday Night Fury. This week we will have the first four matches of the tournament. Let's get right to the ring with our first match. ************************************************************ "Superstar" Scott Powell v. Otis Spunkmeyer, Muffin Man ************************************************************ BUCKLEY: Both of these men are in the ring and we are ready for our first ever Friday Night Fury match. SAMPLES: Good Lord what is this ? Muffin Man ? What kind of freaks does the CSWA have. BUCKLEY: You ain't seen nothing yet. Both men lock up, Arm Bar by Powell . Quick reversal by Otis. Powell re-reverses it and Otis backs him to the ropes .. Referee calls for the break . Clean break. SAMPLES: That's the first mistake right there, never let someone get a clean break. This better not be one of those goody two shoes type of matches. BUCKLEY: Do you know Sammy ? SAMPLES: Never met him, but I love his work. BUCKLEY: That's what I was afraid of. Otis and Powell standing face to face again and they lock up a second time, quick side head lock by Powell . Otis lifts him up, SIDE SUPLEX. Look at that power. Both men quickly to their feet and Otis nails him with a big clothesline. Powell a little slow to his feet and Otis was waiting right there for him BODY SLAM right back to the canvas. Otis with a quick cover, ONE KICKOUT by Powell. SAMPLES: This Muffin Man looks like he's pretty good, but I don't know if he's got all his marbles. He doesn't look too sane now does he. BUCKLEY: Well right now he's in control of the match and looking pretty good. He grabs Powell by the head and pulls him back up to his feet, Hooks him for a suplex, BLOCKED by Powell . Tries to get him up again, Blocked again POWELL NOW . SUPLEX OF HIS OWN . Otis goes down hard and Powell stumbles to the ropes . SAMPLES: If he wants to win this match he better get on the offensive and stop checking out the women in the front row. BUCKLEY: You are like Sammy. That's not what he's doing at all, he's catching his breath and I think it took too long because Otis is back on his feet and charging at him. Powell ducks and pulls down the bottom rope Otis goes crashing to the arena floor . SAMPLES: Great move there by Scott Powell. Used his head and made the Muffin Man pay. BUCKLEY: Well Otis is on the ground now and Powell is still in the ring. Otis slow to his feet and Powell it out there now to help him get back into the ring. He slides him under the bottom rope and follows him in. Powell with a reverse chinlock on Otis now and he's really cinched it in. SAMPLES: He's going to wear him out piece by piece, until nothing is left of The Muffin Man, but the crumbs. BUCKLEY: Fans we have been told that we have "The Rant" Ricky Gant backstage and we're going to cut to him to find out what he has to say. "THE RANT" RICKY GANT: Powell wants to moan and cry about what he's going to do to me the next time he sees me, well why then is he ducking me. Why doesn't he get back into that ring with me like a real man. I put out the contract, signed the dotted line. He could have me in that ring anytime he wants to, and I'll serve him up a second serving of A$$ whipping, but instead he's running scared. You know Powell since you have proven to be all talk and no action maybe I'll just come down to that ring tonight, maybe even right now and I'll beat the living SH*T out of you right here. BUCKLEY: Ricky calm down. "THE RANT" RICKY GANT: Shut up Buckley, no one tells me what to do and I'm d@mn sure not done yet. Powell you wimp if you get lucky enough to survive your matches with Bonecrusher and in this tournament, just remember that I'm waiting right here fruity. Anytime you want another lesson on A$$ Kicking then get in the ring and I'll beat you like a woman. You here me boy, you may be able to do alright against a freak like that Blueberry Muffin, but when you face me, it's not pastry but the best d@mn wrestler in the CSWA that you'll be going up against and THAT is what you could call SWEET, you fruity A$$. BUCKLEY: Now there is a man who looks like he could stand to calm down a little bit. Let's get back to the action though, Otis is still in a predicament as Scott Powell has been relentless with that reverse chinlock. Otis can't do much here, can't get to his feet and he's a little too far from the ropes. The referee has asked him several times now if he wants to give up, but he's held firm so far. SAMPLES: He better do something soon, because when Powell can determine the match like this, the pace, the speed, he's deadly. BUCKLEY: Otis still trying to get to the ropes, he's fighting to get those few short inches. WAIT A MINUTE, WHAT'S THIS RICKY GANT IS COMING OUT FROM THE BACK. Powell sees him and lets go of the Muffin Man and stands up to look towards Gant. Powell with a few choice words for Gant and Ricky is just spewing it back. SAMPLES: Powell better concentrate on the match BUCKLEY: You're right, Otis back to his feet Rolls up Powell ONE TWO KICKOUT by Powell. The Muffin Man almost scored the win there. Gant doesn't look happy, almost as if he wanted that to happen. Gant just walks to the back now. SAMPLES: I think that Ricky Gant is just playing mind games with Powell. He beat him once, but he seemed to develop a real hatred for Scott Powell in that one match. This was just another way of getting under his skin. BUCKLEY: Powell now turns his attention back to Otis Spunkkmeyer where it should have been all along. The two of them square off face to face again, and lock up . Otis with a side head lock, Powell quickly sends him to the ropes and for the ride . DROP KICK by Powell sends Otis sprawling backwards but still standing Running Clothesline follow up by Powell sends Otis down to the canvas. Otis back up to his feet and Powell was waiting for him. Irish Whip by Powell sends Otis back to the ropes, FRANK-N-STEINER on the return. Cover by Powell, ONE TWO KICKOUT. SAMPLES: Powell is going to need more then just a few moves to beat a big guy like the Muffin Man. Because this man may be a freak but he's not an easy win. BUCKLEY: That is true Donnie, and Powell is right back on the offensive to accomplish that goal. Powell grabs Otis while he's still down and he locks him up in another reverse chinlock. SAMPLES: This will take more energy out of Otis and wear him down for the win. BUCKLEY: That's what Powell has to be going for here, but Otis is dragging himself back up to his feet already. Powell trying to apply more pressure and keep Otis down, but he's not able to. Otis to his feet, shrugs Powell off him and for the ride.. Powell on the return, SHOULDERBLOCK by Otis sends him sprawling. Otis right after him and brings him back to his feet, BODY SLAM. SAMPLES: Did you hear the volume as Scott Powell slammed to the canvas, I think that Otis put him THROUGH the ring on that one. BUCKLEY: Otis right back on top of things, grabs Powell BEAR HUG NO.. BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX and Powell crashes down to the canvas again. Elbow Drop by Otis and a pin.. .. ONE.. TWO.. KICKOUT by Powell. Otis back to his feet and slowly Powell follows suit. Otis sets him up for a Power Bomb . Reversed into a Back Body Drop by Powell, Powell can't stay on his feet though and both of these men go down to the mat. Otis back to his feet and Powell is struggling, he's up on one knee, Elbows the Muffin Man in the midsection.. .. CHINBREAKER. Oh my that looked like it hurt Otis, but it also took a lot out of both men. They are both down AGAIN.in. SAMPLES: This is going to be important, to see who can get up first this time. Whoever can do that should be the winner of this match. They have given and taken a lot of punishment so far here tonight and time is running out for one of them to make a move and establish control. BUCKLEY: You could very well be right on that one. Both men are starting to stir now, who will get up first. The fans are behind Otis Spunkmeyer here, but will it be enough.. Not to get to his feet first, as Powell with a little help from the ropes is up. Otis getting to his feet now.. .. Running Clothesline by Powell sends him crashing back down to the mat. Powell takes this as an opportunity to get a breather. SAMPLES: He better not waste too much time on this one or he could be asking for more trouble. BUCKLEY: Powell now moving over to Otis, grabs him by the legs . Drops an Elbow right to the midsection. SAMPLES: Midsection my butt Buckley. That was how would you say it, the favorite place of the Nation of Masturbation. BUCKLEY: That was unnecessary Donnie, really we don't need to hear more from them then we have to. Powell getting his second wind and he has Otis Spunkmeyer right where he wants him now. Spinning Toe Hold by Powell and Otis is in pain. He's going for the Figure Four Leg Lock, Powell has it cinched in.. .. SAMPLES: This will take some of the fight out of the Muffin Man. He looks in trouble now. Goodnight Gracey. Stick a fork in him, this one is over. BUCKLEY: I Don't think that you'll see him submit in this match, he's too much of a competitor for that. But his shoulders are now on the mat, ONE.. TWO.. Gets the shoulder back up. Otis needs some help here, he's caught right in the middle of the ring. He's trying to reverse it, but he can't get out of it. Too far from the ropes. Looks like all hope is lost. His shoulders drop again ONE TWO Again he gets his shoulder back up. That one was close to a three count. SAMPLES: LOOK WHO'S BACK. BUCKLEY: "The Rant" Ricky Gant is running back to the ring, what is he up to. He slides into the ring, and begins to stomp on Scott Powell. Powell locked up in that Figure Four and on the ground is an easy target and Gant is going to town. Worthington has called for the bell, this one is over. Gant keeps pounding on him. HERE COMES KILLER INSTINCT AND JASON WYLDER, members of the Tri-State Terrorists. Wylder dives at Gant and nails him with a flying shoulder block. Gant slides out of the ring and he's out of here. SAMPLES: But the damage is done, he got his message across. For some reason he's targeted "Superstar" Scott Powell and he's not going to just forget him now that he beat him the first time. I have a feeling that we will see A LOT more from these two in the near future. BUCKLEY: Let's go to the ring announcer for the official word. THE WINNER, BY DISQUALIFICATION, "SUPERSTAR" SCOTT POWELL. BUCKLEY: Otis isn't happy with that and he's getting right in the face of the referee. You can understand his plight, he had nothing to do with this, and has nothing to do with Gant and yet it cost him the chance to win the Intra-Continental Title SAMPLES: Looks like Ricky Gant certainly knows how to go out there and make new friends. He's got Powell, The Tri-State Terrorists and now I'm sure Otis Spunkmeyer all looking for him. BUCKLEY: That is certainly true, but it looks like Ricky Gant wouldn't want it any other way. He goes out of his way to alienate himself from anyone else out here. SAMPLES: But that could comeback and bite him where the sun don't shine when the TST meet up with him. BUCKLEY: Fans we've got to take another commercial break, but we've still got more great CSWA action to come tonight. (FADEIN: jWo logo is superimposed on the screen. V/O: The following announcement has been paid for by the Jenkins World Order. NOT ANYMORE, And let me tell you this is too bizarre, I quit. CUEUP: Disquieting postapocalyptic porno music. CUTTO: Shaky black and white camcorder footage of the Nation of Masturbation walking around an empty arena ) "SOLO" Stan Strokit: I hear my favorite song, but where's my movie ? I want my Porn TV. SPANKY RICHARDS: Later for that, this is our new snazzy theme song, for the The Jerkoff World Order, the newest sensation in professional wrestling. You know the boys and I were sitting around, well doing stuff you don't want to know about, when an idea came to us. We just weren't cool enough. We were In Living Color, Technicolor just wasn't working for us, We had professional cameramen who actually kept the camera steady, it just wasn't cool enough. So we decided that why fight it, let's get cool. So we added a few new members and the JERKOFF WORLD ORDER IS READY TO TAKE OFF. Now I know what your saying, we're cooler now.. we're in black and white, we have crappy camera work, but boys this is just the beginning. Let's introduce some of our new members. First of all we realized that what's a wrestling organization without our very own telephone company spokesman, so Ladies and Gentlemen, Paul Reiser. PAUL REISER: You know I just don't get it. Everyone masturbates and yet it's considered something taboo. I mean something that good should be revered. It's the ultimate in safe sex. Even I know where MY hand has been. Hey by the way, did you hear about AT&T's new rates ? Come on back to the company that you can trust. SPANKY RICHARDS: Thanks Paul and remember that's AT&T. Or to make it easy for all you folks out there, we got our second new member of the JERKOFF WORLD ORDER. What would a phone company spokesman be, without a wrestler named after his special phone number. Let me introduce, 1-800-DialATT. (1-800-DIALATT comes in front of the black and white scene, smiles for the fans and then him and Paul Reiser exit, stage left. ) SPANKY RICHARDS: And who can forget such funny bits as the various "Bogus" characters that we have seen. Every organization should run out and hire a few and that's exactly what the JERKOFF WORLD ORDER has done. Over here behind me on the left is the Bogus Armed Forces, Sail Boat and Wave Runner. And working the camera tonight is the bogus "bogus Hornet". We're making history folks, we doubled the bogus, doubled the fun. But we're not done yet, because everyone should have a little World Order in them and the JERKOFF WORLD ORDER PLANS ON BEING THE BEST OF THEM ALL. Here is the Official JERKOFF WORLD ORDER TAG-TEAM BELTS. SPANKY RICHARDS: Here you go, "Bogus Armed Forces" You are the New Jerkoff World Order Tag-Team Champions. SAILBOAT: I'm so proud. SPANKY RICHARDS: And what World Order would be complete without a dyslexic prodigy personality. We went out and got ourselves the biggest and I mean that in the dearest possible way. Ladies and gentlemen the genius of the prodigy wrestling world, Rob Byder. This is it, the JERKOFF WORLD ORDER, In all our GLORY !!! HANDS SOLO: I don't know Spanky it feels good to be the JERKOFF WORLD ORDER and I think that we got most of the things that make a World Order great but somehow I think we're missing something. I don't know what it is though, I can't seem to get my hands on it. BUDDY WACKIT: I know what he means. I feel the same way, we're just missing something. We're cool, but we're not all the way there yet. SPANKY RICHARDS: OK, you caught me. We haven't unveiled all of our surprises yet. That's right we have one more member, ABSOLUTE ZERO, because what would a group be without a mathematical figure. HANDS SOLO: That makes it close, but still a little short. Kind of like these midgets here. SPANKY RICHARDS: I know, I got it.. I figured out what we're missing. We don't have our own cool show. I think that's what we should do, the JERKOFF WORLD ORDER PAY PER VIEW. HANDS SOLO: THAT'S IT !!! SPANKY RICHARDS: We could load up the reporters from CNN or CSNBC or some stupid cable station and beat them up for an hour. Plus, what would kind of JWO would we be, without Endorsements. Lots of them. Playboy wants to sponser us. Vaseline is looking to slide us some money. That would make us the ultimate. COME ON EVERYONE WE ARE THE JERKOFF.. WORLD ORDER WE ARE THE JERKOFF.. WORLD ORDER (CUTTO: jWo logo superimposed on the screen. V/O: The preceding announcement has been paid for by the Jenkins World Order...NOT ANYMORE! THINGS GOT WORSE !!!. FADEOUT) BUCKLEY: Fans we're back and I must say I'm terribly sorry for that. I had no idea that the paid advertisement would be that, or I would have certainly warned you all. SAMPLES: Don't get so upset Buckley, you've got to admit that they have a certain charm to them. BUCKLEY: Call it what you want, but I think this is getting carried away here and that something will be done in the near future. But let's not concern ourselves with that, because fans we've got more great matches scheduled for you tonight. Let's head back to the ring for our next Tournament match. ************************************************************ "Eradicator" Troy Martinez v. El Hijo de Diablo ************************************************************ BUCKLEY: Fans the "Eradicator" Troy Martinez has to be considered on a roll here in the CSWA, having won the UNIFIED World Tag-Team Titles with his partner in the team of Killer Instinct and tonight he looks to see if he can work his way one step closer to holding singles gold as well. He's in there now with his opponent El Hijo de Diablo and we're ready to hook them up. SAMPLES: Hey Buckley is that name Spanish for those squid things that you get in the Italian restaurant, because I love those things. BUCKLEY: No I don't think that's what the name means at all. Lock up.. side head lock by El Hijo, reversed by Troy Martinez, and re-reversed by El Hijo. Troy pushes El Hijo into the ropes and the referee calls for the break.. Clean Break, NO Troy nails him with a big kick to the midsection, that doubled him over, European Uppercut and El Hijo is spread out in the corner. Troy whips him out and to the far side and El Hijo went up and over the top rope. SAMPLES: Ut-oh this could be the big trouble for El Hijo right here. Joe Massacre, the other half of the Unified Champions is moving over to where El Hijo is trying to get to his feet. BUCKLEY: Meanwhile in the ring Martinez is getting in the referee's face and yelling at him. SAMPLES: He's giving Massacre the time to do some damage. BUCKLEY: Massacre brings El Hijo to his feet and looks like he's walking him over to the ring steps. NO, RIGHT INTO THE RING POST. Now he rolls him into the ring. SAMPLES: You see that Buckley, Massacre shrugs and looks to say Ooops. He was just trying to help the man back into the ring. It was an accident. BUCKLEY: Sure it was. El Hijo in trouble already and Troy Martinez looks pretty pleased with himself. He's strutting around that ring and talking it up with the fans at ringside. Now he decides to get back into the match, he's got El Hijo back to his feet, Suplex, NO REVERSED by Hijo. Martinez goes down hard to the canvas. El Hijo got too much time to get his senses back. Martinez right back to his feet and El Hijo is waiting for him. Drop Kick and Martinez back to the canvas. El Hijo with the quick follow up has Martinez on his feet, whips him for the ride FRANK-N-STEINER. COVER. ONE KICKOUT by Martinez. SAMPLES: That was so quick that Joe Massacre couldn't even get up on the ring apron to do anything about it. BUCKLEY: Martinez slow to his feet, but he's back up. SNAP SUPLEX by El Hijo. Hijo in control now and this would have to be a huge boost for him to beat the "Rookie of the Year" and one half of the Unified Tag-Team Champions. He's right back on the offensive, has Martinez up.. BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX. Cover.. ONE..TWO..KICKOUT by Martinez. That was close. El Hijo now moving to the ropes, he's heading to the top, FLYING ELBOW DROP. That might be it, ONE..TWO..KICKOUT. BUCKLEY: El Hijo looks a little frustrated now. He lifts Martinez back up and whips him to the ropes, El Hijo runs to the opposite ropes and FALLS FLAT ON HIS FACE. Joe Massacre grabbed his leg and tripped him up. Martinez on his feet but just sitting in the corner. SAMPLES: He's been put through the ringer here by El Hijo so far, and he needs the breather. I think that this match has surprised him some. After what happened this week, winning the Unified Titles like that, you think your on top of the world and don't get ready for that next match. BUCKLEY: Well right now he better concentrate on El Hijo because I think he's surprised a lot of people so far tonight. Hijo getting back to his feet now, and Martinez charges and clips the knee. Martinez just wanted to get the rest he needed but was right there when his opponent was getting back to his feet. You've got to admit that he knows his way around a ring. Now he's going to take advantage of the clip to the knee. Spinning toe hold by Martinez, and he grabs the ropes for more leverage. SAMPLES: But the referee saw that one and forces a break on it. El Hijo is the type of guy who was doing real well being mobile and in a fast paced match. Right now Martinez is going to slow down that pace. BUCKLEY: Martinez grabs him by the leg and drags him into the center of the ring, ELBOW DROP onto the inside of the knee. El Hijo looks like he's in trouble now. Martinez back to another spinning toe hold and he's just methodically taking apart that leg of El Hijo. SAMPLES:Look at Joe Massacre on the outside, he loves it. He's on top of the world right now and he's watching his partner take apart the competition. BUCKLEY: Martinez is being brutal, he's now stomping on that knee of El Hijo. Now Martinez is going for it, FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK.. NOOO. El Hijo just booted him right in the rear and sent him through the ropes and out to the arena floor. What a turn of events this is, El Hijo down in the ring and now Martinez down on the outside. He looks like he's in trouble. SAMPLES: Right now neither man look too good. BUCKLEY: Massacre is over by Troy Martinez, trying to get him back to his senses. Meanwhile in the ring, El Hijo is trying to get to his feet. Will that leg hold him ? No, he stumbles back to the canvas again. He's in real trouble if he can't get back to his feet and use that leg. He's trying again, yes he's sort of up. He's leaning against the ropes but it looks like he's supporting most of his own weight. Meanwhile Massacre has Martinez back to his feet and helps him back into the ring. Massacre now moving around to the other side of the ring where El Hijo is holding the ropes.. El Hijo looking nervous now, what is Joe Massacre going to do.. He's on his own two feet now, as he's backing away from the ropes.. He's backing right into Troy Martinez.. Martinez taps him on the shoulder, El Hijo turns around and gets caught by a BIG roundhouse by Troy Martinez. SAMPLES: Having Joe Massacre in your corner is a huge distraction and it's worked wonders here so far for Troy Martinez. El Hijo doesn't know which way to turn now it seems. Right there he thought he was going to be attacked by Massacre, so instead he backed into an attack by Troy Martinez. BUCKLEY: Martinez right back to working on that knee, pounding away on it again with big stomps. Now he drops to his knees and is actually punching that inner knee. El Hijo in big pain here. Martinez gets up and begins walking around the ring again. SAMPLES: Listen to him Buckley, he's saying "I'm going to break it". I think he plans on breaking El Hijo's knee. BUCKLEY: Well he certainly is doing some real damage to it right now. Martinez, Elbow drop right on the head. El Hijo in big trouble now. Martinez to the ropes, he's up on the second one.. Flying Elbow Drop, El Hijo got his legs up, BUT OH MY look at the pain that caused El Hijo. SAMPLES: That did wonders for both of them. El Hijo planted a big boot right on the chin of El Hijo as he jumped off the ropes, and that has Martinez seeing stars. But El Hijo took a big jolt to that knee and he's in BUCKLEY: Both men on the ground and both men in pain. Massacre is banging on the ring apron, yelling encouragement to his tag-team partner. Martinez getting to his feet slowly, sees that El Hijo is in trouble. Martinez moves in for the kill, HE'S GOT IT CINCHED.. FIGURE FOUR. El Hijo can't take the pain, he submits. He had to, that leg is in trouble. Martinez not giving up on the hold though, and Massacre just grabbed his hands to add more pressure. Worthington trying to get him to release it and Troy Martinez doesn't want to let go. I guess he was really serious about wanting to break that leg. Here comes some ring officials now out to the ring area. There are about eight people in the ring now and finally Troy Martinez let's go of the Figure Four. He slides out the ring and Joe Massacre lifts his hand in victory. Troy Martinez next week will face his TST partner "Superstar" Scott Powell. SAMPLES: What a situation huh. Now these two men will have to face off against teammates. But there is a plus side for the TST, so long as one man wins the match and there isn't a no decision, then the TST will have a man in the finals of the Intra-Continental Championship Tournament. That has got to be a good feeling for them. They already took the Unified Tag-Team Titles and now they have the opportunity to grab more Gold. BUCKLEY: Fans we need to take a commercial break, when we return, Shane Southern the new number one contender here in the CSWA meets his first round opponent in the Tournament and remember still to come Billy Starr continues his CSWA return when he faces off against Jason Wylder. ************************************************************ SHANE SOUTHERN v. THE HOTBODY ************************************************************ BUCKLEY: Fans we are back here for our fourth match of the night and The Hotbody is already in the ring waiting for Shane Southern. I don't know if this is even the same "Hotbody" that was here months ago and attacking Xavier Virile. First of all that guy looked to me to be about four inches taller and also as you may remember wasn't wearing the mask that this man is wearing. SAMPLES: Does it really matter ? Who cares if it's the good humor man, as long as he can wrestle in there. BUCKLEY: Southern coming down to ringside now and listen to this audience . Southern shaking hands with some of the fans around ringside, and the fans here are eating it up. Southern now ready to get into that ring. SAMPLES: Southern, after a shaky start in the world of professional wrestling has really turned things around and has begun to make a great name for himself. BUCKLEY: Both men in the ring and ready to go, Shane Southern extends a hand to the Hotbody, but he wants nothing to do with it. Southern just shrugs his head. There's the bell and we're ready to lock em up. Collar and elbow, Southern turns a quick side headlock. Applying a lot of pressure here, and quickly turns him over with a Hip Toss. Hotbody hits hard and Southern is right there still applying the pressure with that side headlock. Hotbody tries to get back to his feet, and does, gets Southern to the ropes and sends him for the ride. Southern and Hotbody collide, and Hotbody goes to the canvas. Hotbody quickly up to his feet and now he goes to the ropes, on the return, BIG BACK BODY DROP by Shane Southern and the Hotbody rolls outside the ring. SAMPLES: He needs a breather, Shane Southern is on fire here so far. He's the number one contender now and he wants to get some title Gold. BUCKLEY: Hotbody now back up to the ring apron, but he doesn't want to get in. Southern to the ropes, Slingshots him right in and HARD down to the canvas. Shane Southern clearly in control here so far, and he's looking very impressive. Southern brings Hotbody back to his feet now, lifts him up, PILEDRIVER. Covers, ONE. TWO. KICKOUT by Hotbody. Southern right back on the offensive though, lifts him up again, BRAINBUSTER. That has to be all. Cover, ONE. TWO. THREE and this one is over. Shane Southern with the win here, but I think this needs to be looked into. This man was clearly overmatched by Shane Southern and should not have been in this tournament to begin with. SAMPLES: Oh well, a win is a win and Shane Southern looks to be impressive enough that he could have beaten any man who was in that ring tonight. BUCKLEY: that might be true, but I would be willing to guess that the man who just lost here tonight is not the Hotbody which was supposed to be here. SAMPLES: Big deal. BUCKLEY: Fans we will be right back with our final match. ************************************************************ Billy Starr v. Jason "Wildside" Wylder ************************************************************ BUCKLEY: Fans we are back here live and something a bit odd happened during the commercial break. We noticed that in the audience there seemed to be a stir going on, and when we were able to get the cameras in, we saw the legendary Joey Melton make his way down to a ringside seat and he's now hear watching this event. I knew that Joey was back in the CSWA, but I don't know what he's out here watching. SAMPLES: Well two things immediately come to mind. The first is that it's the wrong Melton to be at ringside in my opinion and second I think he's just here scouting out the competition. Billy Starr and Jason Wylder both have the opportunity to be big stars in the world of professional wrestling and some would say that Billy was half way there before his injury. It's a smart move to keep an eye on future opponents. BUCKLEY: I guess so, and as long as he's on that side of the barrier I don't think we should have much of a problem. Wylder and Starr in the ring now. They are eyeing each other now, trying to get a feel for each other. Collar and Elbow lock up now and neither man is able to get the upper hand, they grapple for a few seconds and then push off. These two men look to lock up again.. This time an arm lock by Wylder. Starr looks to reverse but can't seem to turn it over and Wylder adds more pressure to the arm. Starr pushes him back to the ropes and then whips him across the ring.. Shoulder Block and both men stagger a little and stare each other down. Wylder bounces off the ropes, another collision and again neither man falls but both look more intense. Starr this time to the ropes, ANOTHER SHOULDERBLOCK and both men refuse to hit the canvas. They are right in each other's faces. Oh, Wylder with a slap to the face of Starr. Follows it up with a Rake of the Eyes, now BODY SLAMS Starr to the canvas. SAMPLES: You've got to watch out for those Tri State Terrorists, they are a crafty bunch and they aren't afraid to win at any cost. BUCKLEY: Starr is right back to his feet and keeping a bit of distance between himself and Wylder. Wylder looking for a test of strength now and Billy is slow to accept. Both men have one hand up and now they go to lock up the second hand.. KICK to the midsection by Wylder. He's still got that one arm of Starr's. Pulls him in towards him, Short Arm Clothesline. Starr to the canvas hard. Wylder grabs him and brings him right back to his feet. Irish Whips him to the ropes, Starr on the return, Arm Drag Takedown by Wylder. Starr back to his feet and is met by a dropkick. Quick cover by Wylder, ONE..T-No Kickout by Billy Starr. SAMPLES: It's going to take a lot more then that to beat the former champion, and move on in this tournament. Wylder needs to concentrate on the long term and not worry about a quick pin like that. BUCKLEY: Wylder stays on the offensive, he's got Starr up again.. BODY SLAM. He's being relentless, not letting Starr have a moment to try and get a breather. Look he's picking him back up again. Vertical Suplex and Billy Starr crashes down to the mat. Wylder is being relentless with Billy Starr, really giving him a work over. Brings Starr right back up, OVER THE KNEE BACKBREAKER. SAMPLES : That one had to hurt. I don't care how much he rehabilitated that back. BUCKLEY: Now Wylder looks around the ring, mocking the fans. These Tri State Terrorists have no love lost for the fans it seems. Starr slow to his feet and Wylder is waiting, SNAP MARE and Starr is back down, Wylder holds on and has him in a chinlock. SAMPLES: Looks like we'll see tonight how good that back of Billy Starr's really is. Wylder has the knee right in the small of the back and he's applying a lot of pressure on the former champion. He's doing a great job now of just wearing down the champ. BUCKLEY: Listen to the fans now, you can here them chant and stomp rooting for Billy Starr. As the cheers get louder, Billy is trying to get back to his feet.. He's working hard but isn't there yet, finally he's up to his feet, but Wylder still has the hold on him, JAWBREAKER by Billy Starr. Both men are down now. SAMPLES: I think that took the little bit left out of Billy Starr that he had in him. That move rattled his head as badly as it did Jason Wylder. BUCKLEY: Both men trying to get to their feet now. Wylder over to Billy, Roundhouse Right hand, BLOCKED by Billy Starr. He responds with a right of his own. Wylder, is blocked again.. Starr with a right hand, another right, a third, now he's going to the body with a series of lefts and rights and listen to this place explode. Wylder is shaken and staggering. Billy Starr, SUPERKICK. Wylder is down and Billy Starr looks like he's got energy to burn now. SAMPLES: Great comeback by Billy Starr and Jason Wylder is in some serious trouble now. BUCKLEY: Starr probably should have went for a cover there, but instead drags Wylder back to his feet here. Scoops him up, BODY SLAM. Starr now in control of this match. He's got Wylder back to his feet, sends him for a ride.. BIG DROP KICK, and Wylder stumbles back into the corner. Starr into the corner and up onto the second rope.. POUNDING ON THE HEAD OF JASON WYLDER.. ONE.. TWO.. THREE.. FOUR.. The fans are counting along.. FIVE..SIX..SEVEN..EIGHT.. Starr separated from Wylder now by Worthington. Wylder punch drunk now staggering out of the corner and right into Billy Starr's waiting grip.. BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX. Cover, ONE..TWO..KICKOUT by Jason Wylder. Starr lifts Wylder back up to his feet again, from behind, GUTWRENCH SUPLEX. Wylder back down to the canvas again. Starr to the second rope.. FLYING LEGDROP. ONE.. TWO.. KICKOUT. He's wearing Wylder down big time, but can't seem to get that three count, he needs to finish this one off.Wylder. SAMPLES: Starr has him right where he wants him now. BUCKLEY: Starr grabs Wylders leg and drags him into the middle of the ring. Elbow drop right to the middle of the knee of Jason Wylder. Drops another elbow. He's going for it now.. STF. He's got it locked in. This one is all but over. WAIT !!! WAIT !!! Here comes Killer Instinct to the ring area, what are they going to do. Martinez up on the ring apron now. Referee Worthington is over in his face trying to get him away from the ring. On the other side though, Joe Massacre is heading up to the ropes.. .. He's Got the Ring Bell.. Flies, and nails Billy Starr with it. Starr is out. I can't believe it. Wylder is hurt too. HERE COMES LEE JACKSON. Lee hadn't been down at ringside but here he is now. He's got Massacre as he's leaving the ring. HERE COMES SOMEONE ELSE FROM THE BACK. A masked man. This isn't the same masked man we saw earlier tonight though. He's got Martinez from behind, drags him off the ring apron. Four men brawling on the outside of the ring, two men down on the inside of the ring. Worthington trying to get everyone out of here. He's on the outside now, and he's trying to separate Lee Jackson from Joe Massacre and they aren't having any of it. They are just exchanging solid blows. SAMPLES: Get ready to take another head count because someone else is making their way down to ringside. BUCKLEY: Steve Morton, ah Fiennes is now heading down to ringside, what does he have to do with any of this. He slides in the ring, he's got the ring bell.. CLOCKS Jason Wylder with it. Wylder is now out, and Steve Fiennes is trying to revive Billy Starr. He's got Starr coming around and now he heads out of the ring. He's helping to push these brawlers away from ringside. Some semblance of order outside the ring now and Worthington gets back into that ring. Starr coming too sees that Wylder is out and crawls over to him. Cover, ONE.. TWO.. THRRREEEEEEEE This one is over and Billy Starr advances to next week's semi-finals. What a strange match. Look at Billy Starr he is in the ring now, Wylder is out of it and Starr is just staring out at Steve Fiennes and also at that masked man. I don't think that he knows why either man is out here tonight and he doesn't look that happy that he won the match in this manner. SAMPLES: He should be, he advances on in the tournament now to next week's semi-final match up against Shane Southern. BUCKLEY: Fans we're just about out of time, but hopefully we can find out more in the days to come about some of these odd events you just saw. Why is Joey Melton sitting at ringside for the match, who is the masked man who came down to help Billy Starr and WHY did Steve Fiennes get involved in this match. SAMPLES: Hopefully we can get those updates by next weeks show. MERRITT: That's what I wanted to talk to you about. BUCKLEY: Fans Commissioner Merritt has rejoined us here in the broadcast booth. What's up Commissioner ? MERRITT: Samples, You're Fired. I can do a better job out here by myself on the mic. Hey I could bring one of the Spanish Broadcast guys over here and have them jabber on in Spanish and it would be better then listening to you. So, take a hike and here's your severance pay. MERRITT: Next week, Friday Fury the announcing team of Merritt and Buckley will be here with you live. Goodnight.
